Are you interested in energy? Do you wonder about how much of our energy comes from traditional vs. renewable sources? Puzzled about how the electricity markets work? Curious about what it takes to set up a solar or wind farm? Would like to know more about the business of oil & natural gas extraction?
The Business of Energy seminar series, organized by the Kellogg Energy Club and NESC, provides information on commercial and economic aspects of energy and brings together students passionate about energy from across Northwestern. Seminars are led by Kellogg MBA students with experience in the energy field.
Seminars start in the 2nd week of October and take place from 5:15-6:15pm on the following days:

Tuesday 11/17: Electricity Transmission, Distribution and Smart Grid

Applicants will be screening applications on the basis of relevant background and interest in energy. Attendance is compulsory and there will be a “2 and out” policy. We understand that classes and other commitments happen, so each person can have up to 2 absences. After two absences we will give up that person’s seat to the next person on the waiting list.
